Then the big question when I got home: what would I play with first?

I settled on the glass painting kit. It's a bit harder than I thought it would be. The leading takes a bit of squeezing to get it out, which makes control harder. I'm sure I'll get it in time. Then the colours rush out spill over the edges. At least they did for me. I tried a few designs in the kit and played with another couple of shapes. I probably won't count them for ABTI, but I'll see what they look like tonight (takes 24hrs to dry).

I tried stamping next. I see the appeal now - it's like colouring books for adults. Stamp and outline and colour it in. Probably the only difference between the adult and child versions is we make cards out of them, so can pretend it has a purpose. I want more stamps now. Oh dear, I'd heard this happens.

I have paint now too. I bought gouache, which I've never used before. I thought I'd bought watercolours too, but I was obviously a bit confused, especially as I bought masking fluid to use with the watercolours. I think I'd decided to get pastels instead. Oh well.

I hope I have suitable paper and brushes.

I plan to use the felt to make a specific picture. Except the purple, which I bought because it's purple. I suppse I'd better think of a use. The feathers are for a mask. I think I'll use the pearlised card for christmas cards, and probably the angel hair (is that what it's called? The square of silver stuff to the left)

Inches remain at 104.

Again with this feathers for mask story!! Really must find out the purpose of this "elaborate" mask....
