My sister had her saddle stolen, my colleague had his mud guard stolen. Is there an international gang of bike part thieves who hope to get enough bits to make their own?

Transport Thieves
I wonder if they will put them with my full trad belled horse collar that was stolen from my garage (all bikes & furniture left untouched). The rest of my harnessing is stored in the house, man has 1 set of reins, horse is with waggon & cart, bridle in my bed! Why must people steal? :(
Still the idea of putting saddle, collar with hames & traces & a mudguard together to make a form of transport will send my imagination wild!

We had a friend who had 8 brand new bikes robbed in the city centre in the space of a year. He was told to put a plastic shopping bag over his saddle. Nearly two years later, still on bike no. 9

Wow! I would have thought he'd have to paint it pink or something!
