Science trivia
On the page I linked to yesterday (http://www.io.com/~dierdorf/ww.html) has a section with interesting bits of science trivia. Scroll down to the "Columbus, Einstein, etc." section. I finally know what the Theory of Everything is aiming to do. And he reckons that an Irishman would have discovered the Special Theory of Relativity if he hadn't died. In fact, Relativity is Fitzgerald's word. Einstein called it Invariance Theory.

I need another soft toy to call Fitzgerald (I generally name my soft toys after scientists, especially maths physicists). Also Hamilton, Walton and Bell. Bell doesn't sound right for a toy though.
The last toy so named is sitting beside the monitor smirking happily. He's a dinosaur called Huxley. The first was an owl called Schrodinger.
Franklin is not sitting beside me, but I know he'd wanted pointed out that he's a boy. He's named after Rosalind Franklin and has issues.

I'm grown up, really I am.
