Does that make it stronger? I'm doing a heel flap (my first heel flap!) and every second stitch of every second row is tbl.

Gives you a bit more strength and stretch. Also a slight texture to the fabric.

Noticed the texture. I might try it in an innocent hat.

Interesting about the stretch. I wouldn't have thought.
