my twittering (reporting a pyramid scheme, 90th anniversary of the Dail , shiny train, random)

09:38 Someone (probably from US) is trying to recruit me to pyramid scheme. Should I report him/it? How/where? #

13:31 I didn't realise today was the 90th anniversary of the Dail (Irish parliament). Happy anniversary Ireland :-) #

13:37 Oops, I was wrong. The Dail anniversary is tomorrow! #

14:58 *confused*Wikipedia gives different dates depending on article. First Dail article changed to 20th today, prob based on TV. gov.ie says 21st #

17:15 Got a shiny new train back up to Dublin. Less tables, but moveable arm rests and clear announcements, as Gaeilge agus as Bearla. #

17:45 As suggested, went to the source (or as close as I could). Dail anniversary is TOMORROW, 21st January: short.ie/76bxnx #

17:58 I suspect the Dail anniversary celebrations were today because TDs were gathering for the emergency legislation anyway. Lazy feckers. #

18:07 I'm not watching the inauguration, but it's great seeing all the excitement on my twitterfeed :-) #

19:33 Heading in to bookcrossing meeting. With no books. *is disorganised* #

Or perhaps the celebrations were today because Sinn Fein reserved the Mansion House for tomorrow.

Yeah, discovered that since. But I prefer the lazy feckers argument :-)

Of course, maybe SF got there first because the gubmint are lazy feckers - I think SF had it booked for 2 years & the government only tried sometime last year.
