bottles/rug yarn
Do any of you use bottles for anything? I've got some bottles to get rid of, but some of them are interesting shapes (eg have loops for carrying, or wobble in and out) and it seems a pity to just put them in the recycling.

Also have some bits of rug yarn, that might be of interest to latch hookers. Two unopened pure wool, in neutral colours, and two opened synthetics in orange and dull red.

And does no one want the chocolate fondue from the previous post? Not even for parties? I'd keep it, except we also have a chocolate fountain.

I'll take the rug yarn off you.

Grand. Didn't know you did rugs. I did a few years ago, but nothing recently. I have one unfinished one somewhere, but I'm allergic to it!

I keep meaning to do a very complicated one for myself, I've done a few cross stitched ones. There's one waiting for me to find a way of adding on some backing fabric that's unavailable commercially (that I can find anyway) I've been threatened with grievous bodily harm if I put it on a floor.

Allergic is no fun.

I haven't backed any. But they went on the floor in out of the way places, not major traffic routes.

I enjoyed making my rugs. My first rug disintegrated after Tig was ill (poisoned we think), but the big circular is still around & love by the dogs.

The bottles & chocolate fondue sound interesting. I have a conventional fondue still packed up somewhere & the childer loved using that, but never tried a chocolate 1. My girls would adore it ~ all that gooey sticky choccy...

I'm not sure if you're asking for the bottles and fondue kit, or just thinking out loud. Some of the bottles are gone already, but you're welcome to the rest of them and the fondue if you can pick them up. The closest I can realistically get to you is Kilkenny city, though Dublin would be simpler for me.

No way I could get up to Dublin on a day trip, so I'll have to let them go. Friend left for a 4-day trip a week ago, but I don't think that he heads to Belfast via Dublin anyway & he's lost his 'phone! Thanks for thinking of us. Kilkenny is just as impossible :(
