they broke the internet!
Apparently it wasn't just Dr Horrible's Singalong Blog itself that had difficulties yesterday (I hear it's working now, but haven't tried myself). This is from Whedonesque:

Grrr argh... Whedonesque has met its nemesis.

Due to a traffic spike caused by the release of Dr Horrible, our host has shut down our database. We have moved to a new server and are working to activate the new database and site. In the meantime, the forum at Whedonesque.org is still up and running:

Visit whedonesque.org.

And I hear Felicia Day's site was affected too.

Excuse me miss!

Your link to whedonesque dont work - it resolves to http://dubnordie.livejournal.com/friends/whedonesque.org (or user equivalent).

using whedonesque.org as a manually entered url works

And even if it did crash your site, Dr Horrible's blog is just great! Is it only going to last the week?

It didn't crash my site!

It is, isn't it? On second watch, I can do without all the letters at the beginning. Even on first watch, actually, as I was wondering how long until something happened. But when stuff does start happening, it's great!

Yep, just the week, I believe. It'll be available to buy after that, I think.

now, you see, i liked the letters! It lead nicely into what happened next.

I especially liked the way he trailed off with the last one. It just felt like too much time was taken up with them.
