Nice pictures. The plaque turned out very well, considering it was rather dark by then.

I've two other photos that didn't work so well. You can see some of the background, but the writing is blurred and yellow.

So in your part of the world tradespeople don't come when they promise either!
Perhaps you've heard of the plumber whose Doctor phoned to ask why he hadn't come because even though something was seriously wrong with the Doc's toilet. The plumber replied "Well just drop an aspirin down there and it will be better in the morning!"

I drove twice again this morning! Vroom vroom! If I can fit one in tomorrow as well, it'll be great. It doesn't seem to happen on weekday evenings.

Whoo hoo! Well done you! It may happen more in the evenings now that it is brighter longer.

Is the Cake café open on Sunday?

Okay, I'm officially lost here!! What's twittering???

It's "microblogging". Basically, twitter is a website where you can do very short updates (up to 140 characters), either on the web or via text. I've found another site, loudtwitter, that gathers all your updates for the day and posts them to your livejournal. So people who only read my livejournal and not my twitter page can get those updates. I did it because I'm bad at getting around to proper updates, but much more likely to do quick ones throughout the day. It was brilliant for the convention - I never get round to doing proper posts on holidays or events. Here's my twittering for the first day of the convention. When I have, eg, "@puritybrown" it means the message is intended for puritybrown.
