I remember reading a book when I was a child about a man who became a millionaire and started spending all his money. He bought the Albert Hall and used it as a giant jelly mould. That was where I first came across the Albert Hall, so it's indelibly linked with jelly in my mind. Poor Lovely Man was trying to read the inscription yesterday and I kept interrupting with "jelly!".

I'm still disappointed though :-(

That's the kind of thing that would stick with me too. I would most definitely expect it to be filled with jelly!

Yes! There's a bookcrossing convention on this weekend. Lovely Man/nuteile and I are both here for the convention, then I'll stay another few days when he goes home.
