St Stephen's Day dinner
Well, that was much more traditional. Some friends of my sister (ex colleagues, tramping partners and salsa partners, unfortunately not the friend who came over on Christmas day - I was hoping for more discussion of Angel) came over for glazed ham, mashed potatoes (and lots of potato jokes), honey carrots, creamed cabbage, peas, meringues and merriment. A great evening. Here's some photos, for those of you on my flickr friendslist.
After they left, Zucchini (my sister - that's her bookcrossing name), subjected us to introduced us to the joys of CSI. She's a tad obsessed with it. But I have to agree, it looks good.

Today, we actually did a bit of touristing and popped into the Te Papa museum. But it turns out I wasn't really in a mood for being edumacated, so we browsed the shop instead.

Here's a sculpture outside the museum.

Does the idea of a non blond non english Spike being in torchwood attract you in any way?!

And which CSI did you watch? Just curious.....

I heard him talking in his own accent in a behind the scenes thing and it sounded so weird! I like his English accent.

I haven't watched any Torchwood yet, though I want to.

Some of season 3. We're onto season 4 now!

Well the new Torchwood series starts in a week or two, so now's yer chance.

season 3 of.......Miami. New York. Or the original Vegas? Each are different and with different leading men, so it gives an interesting perspective on how and why people watch particular programs. (I started watching Miami first, because I fancied David Caruso. Am now finding it gets more and more ridiculous and have started watching Vegas - Grissom's mouth fascinates me - but have never sat through an episode of New York)

David Caruso?!!? Ugh!

It's Las Vegas. We're watching another one just now.

Yes, I've got that whole CSI addiction thing going on here too. MrPuddy got a box set for Christmas. Only Miami though, very fussy about that. Can't understand this addicition myself, now if it was Bones we were talking about!!!

I haven't seen any Bones yet either. I suspect we'd like it.
