Serenity screening on Sat 16th, in aid of Equality Now
Do people know about this?

I won't be going, as I've other things on, but here's the info for anyone who wants to.

16th June in Cineworld, doors open 10, film starts 10:30. There'll be a raffle & auction before the film, so arrive early.

Tickets are €20, and can be bought through PayPal, or meet the guy in town to pay cash. His gmail address is dublin.serenityscreening If paying through paypal, include your address and all the names. They'll be checking tickets against names at the door.

The tickets are 80% sold and the rest must be bought todaysoon to give time to get the tickets in the post, or to meet him.

All proceeds go to Equality Now.

Edit: The organiser had sent round a mail saying last chance & must buy now. I've queried what now means & got a reply saying "early next week".

Edit2: For those not in Ireland, see here: http://www.cantstoptheserenity.com/

Edit3: That's 10 in the morning.

Get out of my sight, you philistine!

Did you see any Firefly? if so, did you hate it too, or was there a difference?

No, and I'm told that's why I didn't like Serenity. But having seen Serenity, I've now got no intention whatsoever of watching Firefly...
