ice nine
Scientists have discovered two previously unknown forms of ice [...] which they have named ice XIII and XIV.

Isn't this a bit worrying?

(If you don't know what I'm on about, read Kurt Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle)

ETA: Oops, my roman numeral reading is not up to scratch. I blame lurgy.

I'm home sick again. The sore throat is making talking rather uncomfortable, so I think work is not the best place to be.

If they're calling these new forms of ice, "Ice thirteen" and "Ice fourteen", I think it's a little late to be worried...

Oops, didn't mean to cause an entire post stratch through! I was expecting to get a witty sci-fi based comment in return!

No worries. I'm just glad you caught it fairly fast.

I had a dream about you last week. You bought me loads of expensive Xmas gifts (including a kimono) and I just got you a Spiderman annual (or something). Weird.

Amn't I generous?

I've had a couple of weird dreams lately. It's fairly unusual for me to remember my dreams at all. One was a Buffy episode with a roller coaster and Spike. There was an actual roller coaster and it was a metaphor for something else that was happening in the episode. But I can't remember it now :-( I'm fairly sure there was no Spiderman album in it.
