hot chocolate
Where in town can you get good hot chocolate past 7 o'clock? I love Butler's Chocolate Cafe, but it'll be closed.

Yea, I like Sufi's, but less so since they started closing at midnight instead of 4am.

<rant>Why are are (nearly) no cafés in this city open after about 6pm, but thousands of pubs? You can spend hours wandering the streets after coming out of (say) a cinema around 11pm and (almost) the only place to go for refreshment is a pub. Or home. Time to start a campaign of going into pubs and ordering coffee. I ordered a nice cup of tea while on a pubcrawl in some very old-man-and-dog small pub and got a strange look from the barman — but still a mug with hot water and a teabag. Not quite hot chocolate, but it takes some pushing.</rant>

We've ordered tea at number of the bookcrossing meetings. It seemed to happen more in the Library Bar, I think. Maybe because it looks like a sitting room?

BTW, Here's some icons for you: http://foxglove-icons.livejournal.com/56483.html

I like the Library Bar; don't think I was ever at a BC meeting there. Why did it get departed from — was it not regarded as LJ-suitable?

Thanks for the icons. Yes, I'm very under-iconed here. That person's icons says she wanted keyword-crediting for their use. That strikes me as fiddly enough to make it some what troublesome, no? Must make some original ones and become less blank anyway...

We didn't feel welcome. Especially after we got moved to the corridor.
